Willoughby
Willoughby is a natural landscape that was originally formed through glacial activity. It is located in Westmore, a very rural town in the northeastern Vermont. Utilizing repeat photography, Curran Broderick photographs from the south end of the lake. This vantage point frames Mount Hor on the left and Mount Pisgah on the right.
The series is a constantly changing out of order timeline of human activity within the same place. The paradox of changing sameness speaks to the complex inseparable relationship between humanity and landscape. The series is currently on going.
